Hilliers Law is owned and managed by Charles Fuchter. After many years in partnership in private practice Charles has fulfilled a long-standing ambition to set up his own law firm.
Charles has spent most of his career dealing with various types of dispute resolution in the High Court, County Court, and Tribunals, acting for both commercial clients and private individuals. He is a past President of the Rochester, Chatham and Gillingham Law Society (now the Medway Law Society) and a former member of the General Purposes Committee of the Kent Law Society. He was a member of the Steering Committee of the Zeebrugge Solicitors’ Group co-ordinating claims arising from the capsize of the Herald of Free Enterprise off Zeebrugge.
Some of his cases have attracted the attention of the news media, and Charles has been interviewed on radio and television about Conditional Fee Agreements and Employment law. He has trained a number of solicitors to qualification.
